Hannah + Aaron's Micro Wedding | 9.19.2020 | Warren, Ohio
January 8, 2021

2020 was… interesting… to say the least. Many brides had no other option other than to reschedule their big weddings to 2021. But how was this fair? They had been planning their 2020 weddings for MONTHS to make sure that everything would be perfect and then BAM, a worldwide pandemic hit.

When Hannah and Aaron contacted me to document their wedding I was thrilled. But when they called me to say they were going to do a Micro Wedding in 2020 and then their big wedding once everything calmed down in 2021, I was honored.

It was still their wedding date and nothing was going to stop them from getting married. They decided to have micro wedding in Ohio and asked me if I could be their photographer for them, then too. Yes, I love in Pennsylvania, but I am 100% to travel to document their amazing love story.

Things were a little different than typical- But wedding days are very emotional. There are nervous jitters, excitement, a bunch of rushing around then waiting, happy tears, hugs, and I can go on… This is one of the many reasons I love to photograph weddings.

Is that a closet- you may ask? Why yes, yes it was... They had an ENTIRE suite and chose the closet to get ready in lol! (not judging- this was a very efficient process- but it was hilarious)! I think this is when I spotted her doing Hannah's makeup and got caught taking photos LOL! I see everything... ;)

I love this image- I really love how you can see her reflection in the screen!

Then it was finally dress time! The lighting in this image was amazing! Hannah looks like an angel!

As we ran around the resort we stopped and got some of the family photos then we were off to the church to get married!

The ceremony was so special and I was so happy to see that some of her friends and family were able to be there, even with all of the requirements.

And there they are! Mr & Mrs Larmar!

Ever wonder how I do this dress photo? With a little assistance and precision timing you get some of my favorite images!! Oh, and my position? We photographers call it "photography yoga"... This is also why I feel like I got hit with cement truck the next day ha-ha!

I am so grateful that they asked me to document this day in addition to their big wedding in 2021… And now they can say they got to have 2 different weddings, wear that gorgeous dress twice, and got married during a world wide pandemic. Now that is a story to pass down the generations (:
