Nine Years of Capturing Memories| Reflections on almost a decade in business
July 1, 2023

Nine years ago today, I officially began my journey in the world of professional photography. It has been an incredible and rewarding experience that I have loved every moment of. As I reflect on the past nine years, I am so grateful for the opportunities that I have had to work with hundreds of amazing clients.

It all started with my friends' senior photos and the senior superlatives for the yearbook. I had no idea that this would be the beginning of my career as a photographer. After doing a few senior sessions, I realized that capturing people's personalities and emotions behind the lens was something that I was truly passionate about.

I was attending my second year of college when I decided to make it official and start offering senior photos to the local high schools. It wasn't long before my love for photography expanded into wedding photography. There's something about capturing the beauty and love of two people on their wedding day that still gives me goosebumps. I am proud to say that I have now shot over 100 weddings, as well as countless other life event photography sessions.

I still can't believe that I am living my dream job. When I was in high school, I thought that I wanted to be a graphic designer. But now, after nine years of photographing some of the most important moments in people's lives, I know that I am right where I am meant to be.

I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of my clients who has given me the honor of capturing their memories. Your trust and support has meant everything to me. Without you, I couldn't have pursued my passion and created a business that brings me such joy and fulfillment.

I am so thankful for the moments that I have been able to capture over the years. From the look on a groom's face as he sees his bride for the first time, to the joy on a new parent's face as they hold their newborn for the first time, to the tears of a father as he walks his daughter down the aisle. These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do.

I am beyond blessed to be able to do what I love for a living. I have made lifelong connections with my clients and have had the privilege of creating memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey, and here's to many more years of gratitude, passion, and adventure! <3
